
Tropical Storm Bertha is wobbling south of the Mississippi Coast, according to the latest update from forecasters issued Wednesday morning.
As of 10:00 AM Central Daylight Time on Wednesday, July 22, the center of Bertha was positioned near coordinates 29.8 degrees north, 88.6 degrees west. The storm was drifting toward the west-northwest at approximately 6 miles per hour.
Bertha’s minimum central pressure stood at 998 millibars, with maximum sustained winds clocking in at around 50 mph. Tropical storm conditions are forecast to persist across the warning zone through Wednesday night.
Residents in the warning area are urged to stay alert and follow guidance from local emergency management officials as the storm continues to move through the region.
