A newly released poll from the Barna Group suggests that teenagers who take part in youth group programs at their church are showing stronger signs of spiritual growth compared to peers who do not participate.
According to the survey, 74% of teens involved in youth groups reported praying and reading the Bible on a regular basis. That figure drops to 56% among teenagers who do not attend youth group.
Beyond personal faith habits, the research also found that youth group participants are more likely to share their beliefs with others, volunteer in their communities, and pursue roles or careers connected to church or Christian ministry work.
