A major earthquake measuring 7.4 in magnitude hit Puerto Madero, Mexico on Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The USGS reported that the quake occurred at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers, which is roughly 6.21 miles below the surface.
