Airbus is currently in negotiations to sell more of its A330neo wide-body jets to Flynas, a Saudi low-cost airline, according to industry sources speaking on Wednesday. An official announcement could potentially come as early as next week during the Farnborough Airshow.
Bloomberg News had earlier reported that Flynas was looking to convert options for eight A330 aircraft into firm orders.
That same Bloomberg report also indicated that Germany’s Condor Flugdienst was in discussions to purchase approximately six Airbus A330neos, citing individuals familiar with the situation. However, industry sources pushed back on that claim, downplaying the likelihood of a Condor deal.
Airbus declined to offer any comment on the matter.
