    18-year-old arrested, another wanted in Lincoln shooting

    Delaware State Police arrest one suspect and looking for another following a shooting in the Lincoln area on Wednesday.

    Just after 3:00 p.m., officers were called to the 10000 block of Greentop Road on reports of shots fired. An investigation determined that two suspects in a Toyota Corolla had fired the shots at a residence with three occupants inside and fled. No one was injured or struck by gunfire.

    A short time later, troopers located the Corolla on Haflinger Road and arrested the driver, 18-year-old Samuel Modestin of Seaford. He faces three counts of felony reckless endangering and felony second-degree conspiracy.

    He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

    Police investigating after home was shot up in Lincoln

    Delaware State Police are investigating after a home was shot up in Lincoln.

    According to the Delaware State Police Department, on Tuesday troopers responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Dupont Boulevard for a report of shots fired. The investigation revealed that on April 11th, around 10 p.m., a 38-year-old female was inside of the home when she heard gunshots outside.

    After further investigation the following morning, police say the resident discovered multiple bullet holes in the exterior of the home and in a vehicle parked outside. In addition, there was an 18-year-old male and two juveniles inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.

    At this time there is no suspect information or surveillance images available.

    Lincoln home struck by gunfire, police investigating

    Delaware State Police are investigating after a home was shot up in Lincoln.

    According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:55 a.m., Sunday when troopers were dispatched to the 19000 block of Bunting Avenue for reports that gunfire had struck a home.

    Police arrived and learned that three adult residents were inside the home when an unknown suspect shot one round at the house.

    A bullet entered the home through an exterior wall into a bedroom where one of the residents was sleeping and continued traveling through an interior wall, according to police. The round became lodged in a hallway ceiling.

    None of the residents were injured during the incident.

    The shooting remains under investigation and anyone with any information is urged to contact police.

    Lincoln woman wanted for felony theft

    Amy Abell, 41, of Lincoln, DE – Delaware State Police Dept.

    Delaware State Police are searching for a Lincoln woman wanted on felony theft charges.

    Troopers are requesting the public’s assistance with locating Amy Abell, 41, of Lincoln who is wanted for felony theft.

    During the fall of 2020, Amy was hired to work for an elderly female. While employed, a large amount of cash was discovered stolen from the victim, according to police. A felony warrant is currently on file at Delaware State Police Troop 4 for Amy’s arrest.

    Amy is described as a white female with blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’07” tall, and weighs approximately 195 lbs. She may currently be in the Sussex County or Salisbury, Maryland area.
