Troopers Investigating Robbery of Dollar General in Magnolia

The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday at a Dollar General in Magnolia.

On June 3, 2024, at approximately 6:08 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at Dollar General, located at 54 West Birdie Lane in Magnolia. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect approached the cashier to make a purchase and when the register was open, he forcefully removed the cash and ran from the store. The cashier was not hurt.

Delaware State Police Troop 3 continues to investigate this robbery. Troopers are asking anyone with information about this case to contact Tpr. J. Shanahan by calling (302) 697-4454. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
