The Dover Police Department is investigating an arson that occurred at the YMCA Thursday evening. The investigation began at 4:48 p.m. when Dover Police was notified of a fire at the YMCA. Officers responded and spoke to Dover Fire Department personnel who advised that someone intentionally set a fire in the bathroom which caused damage to the building. City of Dover Fire Marshal’s Office and Dover Police’s Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating.
No suspect description is being released at this time as Detectives are still reviewing surveillance.
