Delegates at the Presbyterian Church USA’s general assembly have cast an overwhelming vote in favor of a statement endorsing sex-change operations for children, while also condemning states that have enacted bans on those procedures.<\/p>

The PCUSA holds the distinction of being the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States. However, the church has experienced a prolonged decline in both membership and the number of congregations it represents.
