ATHENS, Greece \u2014 Four people found themselves trapped Tuesday after a four-story residential apartment building came crashing down in the Petralona district of Athens, according to the city’s fire brigade.<\/p>

Emergency responders, including firefighters and police officers, were sent to the scene to assist with the rescue effort, which was still underway as of the latest update. The fire brigade released a statement confirming the operation was ongoing. Video footage aired by local media showed rescue personnel carefully making their way through the debris.<\/p>
