The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred early yesterday morning at a Shell gas station in Newark.<\/p>\n
On June 8, 2024, at approximately 5:07 a.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station located at 1148 Christiana Road in Newark. The preliminary investigation revealed 3 unknown suspects used a white van to crash into the gas station\u2019s front glass window while the business was open for service. The suspects then approached a Shell employee, and demanded he open the cash registers. The employee complied and the suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no reported injuries.<\/p>\n
The suspects are described as unknown males wearing dark-colored clothing. Surveillance video and images are not yet available.<\/p>\n
The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigation Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to contact Detective K.
