Narrative: <\/strong><\/span>The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Saturday evening. The investigation began at 7:53 p.m., when Dover Police Department was notified of an assault in the parking lot of Cosmic Smoke. Officers responded and contacted the victim, a 33-year-old male, who had sustained injuries from the assault. The victim refused medical treatment. The ensuing investigation revealed that as the victim exited his vehicle he was confronted by a group of 15-20 people, aged approximately 10-years-old to 19 years-old. During the confrontation, several subjects in this group began physically assaulting the victim, and during the assault, they demanded the he turn over property. The suspects stole a key fob belonging to the victim and fled.

The only description available at this time is the suspects were black males.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
