George Russell claimed the top starting spot for Saturday’s Canadian Grand Prix sprint race, leading a Mercedes front-row sweep with teammate Kimi Antonelli securing second place during Friday’s qualifying session in Montreal.<\/p>

Lando Norris of McLaren, the current reigning champion, earned the third starting position at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, while his teammate Oscar Piastri will begin the race from fourth place.<\/p>

Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc claimed the fifth and sixth starting positions for Saturday’s sprint competition.<\/p>
