A Turkish court in the nation’s capital turned down on Friday a challenge filed by the country’s primary opposition party against a decision to remove their leader, according to reports from the Cumhuriyet newspaper and additional Turkish news outlets.<\/p>

The Republican People’s Party (CHP) has also filed challenges with a higher court and the Supreme Election Board (YSK), though decisions on those appeals remain pending.
