DelDOT and Delaware State Police will launch automated speed enforcement on northbound Interstate 95 through the Churchmans Marsh construction zone beginning Saturday, May 2, 2026.<\/p>

The Electronic Speed Safety Program will monitor traffic speeds in the work area, with officials providing a three-week grace period where violators receive warnings instead of citations. Starting May 23, 2026, vehicle owners caught speeding will face a minimum $20 fine plus additional penalties for each mile per hour above the 50 mph work zone speed limit.<\/p>
