WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump revealed Friday that Iran is preparing a proposal designed to address American concerns, with diplomatic discussions set to continue in Pakistan.<\/p>

“They’re making an offer and we’ll have to see,” Trump stated in a phone conversation with Reuters.<\/p>

The President acknowledged he remains unaware of the specific details of Iran’s upcoming proposal.<\/p>

When questioned about which Iranian officials the United States is engaging with, Trump responded: “I don’t want to say that, but we’re dealing with the people that are in charge now.”<\/p>

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced Friday that Trump will dispatch special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Islamabad. The envoys are scheduled to leave Saturday morning.<\/p>
