New Castle County police are searching for a 22-year-old Bear resident who vanished Saturday evening, prompting authorities to issue a Gold Alert.<\/p>

Joey Shipe disappeared around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, after departing his home on the unit block of South Murifield Lane, according to the New Castle County Division of Police.<\/p>

Family and friends have had no contact with Shipe since his disappearance, police said.<\/p>
