BEIJING – Chinese diplomatic officials are demanding that Japan pursue maximum legal penalties against a person who illegally entered China’s embassy facility in Tokyo while carrying a blade.<\/p>

The incident occurred Tuesday when an individual breached the embassy compound while possessing a knife measuring approximately 7.1 inches in length, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian during a Wednesday briefing with reporters.<\/p>
