Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan’s top military commander, contacted President Donald Trump by phone on Sunday to discuss the Iranian situation and propose Pakistan’s services as a mediator. The following day, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.<\/p>
