Pitcher Aidan Brinsfield delivered an outstanding effort over eight innings, but Salisbury&#8217;s offense failed to provide adequate run support.<\/p><p>The loss came against a McDaniel team that has been playing exceptional baseball recently, proving too much for the Sea Gulls despite Brinsfield&#8217;s impressive showing on the pitcher&#8217;s mound.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salisbury University&#8217;s baseball team suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to McDaniel College despite an outstanding eight-inning pitching performance from Aidan Brinsfield.
