WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump dismissed the possibility of sending additional military personnel to the Middle East on Thursday as tensions with Iran continue.<\/p>

When questioned by reporters about potential troop deployments to the region, Trump responded firmly: “I’m not putting troops anywhere. If I were, I certainly wouldn’t tell you. But I’m not putting troops. We will do whatever is necessary to keep the price.”<\/p>

The president made these remarks during a White House Oval Office session with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on March 19.<\/p>
