Federal health officials announced Monday they are giving pharmaceutical companies extra time to enroll in a groundbreaking program designed to bring down prescription drug costs for Americans receiving Medicaid benefits.<\/p>

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has moved the application deadline from March 31 to April 30, 2026, for drug manufacturers interested in participating in the new payment structure.<\/p>
