Officials in Kazakhstan report that a deadly explosion and subsequent fire at a restaurant has resulted in at least seven fatalities and injured 19 others in the northern community of Shchuchinsk on Friday.<\/p>

Local authorities confirmed through social media that a 16-year-old girl was among those killed in the tragedy, while up to 13 victims remain hospitalized for their injuries.<\/p>
