Young agriculture enthusiasts from across Missouri made their way to the state capitol this week to mark National FFA Week with special festivities. The gathering drew participants from chapters spanning the state, creating a showcase of Missouri’s agricultural education programs.<\/p>

According to State FFA Officer Gage Swindler, who hails from Caldwell County, the celebration brought together students from diverse communities. “There are members from Ashland, Brunswick, Centralia, Milan and Doniphan,” Swindler explained to Brownfield.<\/p>

Fellow State FFA Officer Cash Honeycutt from Ray County noted that the week’s activities included notable participation from state leadership, with Governor Mike Kehoe and State Agriculture Director Chris Chinn taking part by operating tractors during the commemorative events.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
