MOSCOW – Russian aviation authorities temporarily suspended flight operations at four major airports serving the nation’s capital on Sunday as the city came under assault from unmanned aircraft, according to the country’s aviation regulatory agency Rosaviatsia.<\/p>

Moscow’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, confirmed that defense systems successfully intercepted no fewer than seven drones that were heading toward the city, as reported by the Interfax news service.<\/p>
