The city reported that the vehicle has been transferred to Wicomico County Public Schools for use in the Criminal Justice and Collision Repair programs. <br> City officials, including Chief Meienschein and Mayor Randy Taylor, joined students and school staff for the unveiling of the recommissioned training vehicle. The city noted that the partnership is designed to strengthen hands on learning opportunities for students preparing for careers in public safety and skilled trades. According to the city\u2019s announcement, the vehicle will support training across both programs by giving students access to real world equipment. The Criminal Justice program will use the patrol car to help teach law enforcement procedures, while Collision Repair students will be able to work directly on the vehicle as part of their technical instruction. The city stated that supporting these programs aligns with its commitment to developing future public safety personnel and trade professionals.
