Narrative: <\/strong>The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening. The investigation began at 5:42 p.m., when Dover Police responded to the area of New Castle Avenue and Kent Avenue for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victim. The ensuing investigation revealed the victim was driving in the alley between New Castle Avenue and Kent Avenue when a suspect began shooting at her vehicle, striking her windshield. Thankfully, the victim was not injured during this incident. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8″ tall and possibly 16-18 years old. <\/p>\n

There are no additional leads to release at this time.<\/p>\n

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
