{"id":15204,"date":"2025-05-29T10:32:42","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T14:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dsp.delaware.gov\/?p=231547"},"modified":"2025-05-29T10:32:42","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T14:32:42","slug":"search-warrant-in-frankford-leads-to-arrests-for-drug-offenses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tvdelmarva.com\/wp\/search-warrant-in-frankford-leads-to-arrests-for-drug-offenses\/","title":{"rendered":"Search Warrant in Frankford Leads to Arrests for Drug Offenses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Delaware State Police have arrested 56-year-old <strong>Calvin Wescott <\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">of Ellendale, Delaware<\/span>, <\/strong>35-year-old <strong>Jerome Wescott<\/strong> of Frankford, Delaware, and a <b>17-year-old male<\/b> of Seaford, Delaware, for felony drug charges following a search warrant in Frankford last week.<\/p>\n<p>On May 22, 2025, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit, Sussex County Governor\u2019s Task Force, and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 28000 block of Gum Tree Road in Frankford. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Calvin Wescott, Jerome Wescott, and the 17-year-old male for the distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence. Before the search warrant, detectives saw Calvin and Jerome Wescott leave the residence and they were detained without incident. During the search warrant, seven people were detained in the residence, including the 17-year-old male suspect. A child was also in the residence at the time.<\/p>\n<p>A search of the residence led to the discovery of the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 162.35 grams of marijuana<\/li>\n<li>Approximately .09 grams of crack cocaine<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 2.07 grams of heroin<\/li>\n<li>6 pregabalin pills<\/li>\n<li>Digital scales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Calvin Wescott was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released after posting a $10,000 secured bond.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" class=\"wp-image-231548 size-medium alignleft img-responsive \" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/dsp.delaware.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/118\/2025\/05\/Calvin-Wescott-224x300.png?resize=224%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Calvin Wescott\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dsp.delaware.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/118\/2025\/05\/Calvin-Wescott-224x300.png 224w, https:\/\/dsp.delaware.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/118\/2025\/05\/Calvin-Wescott.png 507w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining a Drug Property (Felony)<\/li>\n<li>Conspiracy 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Degree (Felony)<\/li>\n<li>Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Committing a Drug Offense with a Child in the Dwelling \u2013 2 counts<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription &#8211;
