The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Newark early yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
On December 5, 2024, at approximately 4:52 a.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Service Plaza, located at 520 John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway in Newark. The investigation revealed that an unknown male suspect entered an unoccupied and unsecured tractor and trailer in the parking lot. When the driver returned to the truck, the suspect threatened him with a knife, stole his property, and fled the area. The victim was not hurt.<\/p>\n
Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact Detective D.
