SAN DIEGO \u2013 \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A joint effort by the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard lead to the seizure of tens of thousands of pounds of hard drugs on international waters almost smuggled into the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 1st, 2021 the federal agencies were seen offloading 11,400 pounds of cocaine and 9 thousand pounds of marijuana captured from the Eastern Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seizure is part of a 2 month effort as a result of apprehensions in a known drug smuggling transit zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement the Coast Guard says<\/a> operations like these attack supply networks in Central and South America<\/p>\n\n\n\n
