Senate Bill 798 would allow temporary to-go containers for alcoholic beverages, enabling customers to carry drinks between vendors within an event venue. The system would operate through a licensing process managed by the festival or event organizers. Supporters believe the change would provide greater flexibility for both vendors and attendees. The bill has already passed through the Maryland Senate and is now awaiting consideration in the House.
