FREDERICA — Delaware State Police are investigating a murder-suicide that left three people dead late Wednesday night in the Highpoint Mobile Home Park. Troopers were called to Lorna Drive around 10:57 p.m. on Aug. 6 for a welfare check. When they arrived, they found an 81-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man with gunshot wounds, along with a 53-year-old woman who appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Police are withholding their names until family members are notified. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective A.
