State Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Millville

Delaware State Police continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred earlier this month in Millville.

On May 3, 2025, at approximately 11:08 p.m., a Suzuki GSX-R600 was traveling southbound on Central Avenue south of Substation Road. For reasons still under investigation, as the motorcycle negotiated a curve, it exited the west edge of the roadway and collided with a mailbox. As a result of the collision, the driver was ejected.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Ocean View, Delaware, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. On May 12, 2025, he died as a result of his injuries from the crash. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this crash to contact Master Corporal R.
