State Police Investigating Bear Area Burger King Armed Robbery

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday night at a Burger King in Bear.

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 11:06 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Burger King, located at 1170 Pulaski Highway in Bear. The preliminary investigation revealed that two unknown black male suspects approached a Burger King employee while she was taking out the trash. One of the suspects pointed a firearm at the employee, and demanded money from within the business. The employee complied, and the suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects are described as black males wearing dark-colored clothing. Surveillance video and images are not yet available.

The Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective R.
