Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that resulted in a 57-year-old Dover man being injured early Friday morning. The investigation began at 2:20 a.m., when Dover Police responded to the State Street Alley, in the unit block, in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the victim, who had been stabbed with a knife. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The ensuing investigation revealed that a suspect approached the victim, stabbed him, and stole an undisclosed amount of money from him before fleeing.
There are no leads to release at this time.
