Dover Police Investigate Stabbing

The Dover Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that left a 30-year-old Milford man injured. The investigation began at approximately 03:01 a.m., when Dover Police received a report that the victim was at a hospital in Milford, DE advising he was shot. The ensuing investigation revealed that the victim was at a party at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover when he got into an altercation with a black male with long hair, during which time he was stabbed. The victim was transported to the Milford area hospital in a private vehicle and dropped off. The victim was treated at the Milford area hospital and listed as “non critical” condition. 

No further suspect description was provided.
