How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to request deletion of any data associated with your use of the TV Delmarva mobile app, please email us at:

Please include the following information in your request:
Your device type (Android or iOS)
Your approximate location (city/state)
If possible, your push notification token (optional; we can delete your record without it)
All verified deletion requests are completed within 7 business days.
What Data the TV Delmarva App Collects
The TV Delmarva app collects only the minimum data necessary to provide weather alerts, radar, local news, and streaming services.
1. Location (Precise) — Used Only for Weather
If you grant permission, your device’s location is used to:
Display local weather
Fetch radar imagery
Fetch weather alerts from weather.gov
We do not store your location on our servers.
2. Push Notification Token
We collect a push notification token from the app so we can send:
Breaking news alerts
Severe weather alerts
This token can be deleted at any time upon request.
3. App Interactions (Basic Analytics)
Examples include:
Which news stories you tap
Which pages you visit in the app
Which channels you watch
This data is used only internally to improve the experience for viewers.
We can delete these analytics records upon request.
Data Retention
Push notification tokens remain stored until deleted by the user or upon request
App analytics are retained for internal reporting unless deletion is requested
Location data is not stored and therefore cannot be retrieved or deleted
