Troopers Arrest Georgetown Man for Felony Theft

Delaware State Police arrested 36-year-old Adam Prettyman, of Georgetown, Delaware yesterday for felony theft that occurred in March.

On March 29, 2024, troopers were called to a home in the 800 block of West Evens Road in Felton, for a theft. When troopers arrived, they spoke with a 62-year-old victim and the owner of another construction company, who said that several construction tools had been stolen from the house while it was being renovated earlier in March. The investigation led troopers to an employee of the victim, Adam Prettyman, as the suspect involved in the theft. Troopers learned that Prettyman had pawned the stolen tools and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On March 31, 2024, Prettyman was arrested and taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and released on a $3,500 unsecured bond.
